Who’s up for the “Hero’s WOD?” Participants will have the opportunity to complete the following: 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats, and a 1-mile run at the end, all while wearing a weighted vest (optional).
The “Murph” challenge is more than a workout of the day, it’s a tradition to honor the courage and valor of Navy SEAL, Lt Michael P Murphy. While under attach in combat, Murphy valiantly put himself in the direct line of fire to radio for immediate support for his team. He was awarded the Medal of Honor, posthumously, for his actions during the War in Afghanistan: Operation RED WINGS.
