Our mission at the Community Center is to provide safe, expertly managed recreation, enrichment programs, and social events that foster family and individual well-being, unit cohesion, and community involvement. Our vision is to have professionally-trained staff provide single point access to introduce people to the diversity, values and benefits of safe and satisfying outings, activities, and programs. We provide information, referrals, and facilities for individuals and groups interested in available recreation, and enrichment programs.

Community Classes

DANCE:

Ballroom Dance
If you are interested in taking ballroom dance lessons, we would love to hear from you.

Salsa
Mondays at 6 p.m.
--$35/month per individual
--$60/month per couple

MARTIAL ARTS:

Tae Kwon Do
Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
: an empty handed Martial Art that teaches discipline -- $45/month

Combat Jujitsu
Thursdays at 7 p.m.
: a compilation of techniques of self-defense, fighting and tactics for reactions in difficult situations combining systems such as Karate, Aikido, Judo and Hapkido -- $45/month

Women's Self-Defense
Thursdays at 7 p.m. beginning in July
4 to 6-week classes
--$25 per class or save $10 on the course by pre-paying for 4 or 6 weeks

In addition to the classes, we offer a chess club and special family events such as movie nights and craft socials. We are also the point of contact for the Congressional Award Program
